Hello-

Happy 2009 to you!

My L.A. solo art show will be here soon and I'm excited-
"Dreamgirls and Ukes" at Thinkspace Gallery.

It opens on Friday, February 13th, 2009 from 7-11 pm

I posted a new sneak peek of my show pieces here: flickr
Follow this link to new studio photos of paintings & hand-painted antique ukes.

I am happy to say that INKED Magazine (Feb) has a nice feature/interview
about my art and my upcoming show written by Jennifer Goldstein
-on newstands now!

Contact/sign up with Thinkspace Gallery if you might be
interested in acquiring art from this show. They should have a preview
of art/prices the week of the opening:

I am now on facebook and I am updating my blog and website with new info.

Hope to see you at the show if you can make it!

Thinkspace Location: 4210 Santa Monica Blvd Los Angeles, CA 90029
Phone: (323) 913- 3375
Regular hours: Thurs-Sun. 1pm-6pm or by appointment.
The show will run through March 6th, 2009.

"Dreamgirls and Ukes" will include 14 brand new oil paintings on linen and 13
hand-painted, antique ukuleles, fully restored and set up by a luthier
(rare 1920's and 30's, some near mint, all kinds of designs, some brand names)
Ukes will be displayed next to paintings as fine art objects.

I am also painting the front wall of the gallery. My band, the Hokum Scorchers,
will be playing on opening night. (I think it will be an early performance.)

Many thanks for your continued support and best wishes for the new year,
Amy

P.S. I am also in a group show opening Valentine's nite, Feb. 14, in L.A.
called "Movers and Shakers". Many great artists in this show.
