I beg to disagree with my two very wise colleagues. The only solution to the conflict, for Israel, for the Arab World, and for the United States in the Middle East, is to convince the Jewish people of America, of Israel, and of the world, that the policies pursued by Israel today are extremely damaging to all three entities and to everyone else in the world, and must be reversed as soon as possible to save us all, most of all the Jews of the world. Any other policy is totally "anti-semitic." Bob Keeley

And this was his reply -- when I followed up by sending him a 2003 article of mine, published by (among others) the DAILY STAR.

thanks,John. I just got back from 2 months in Washington which was depressing politically but great otherwise. The US will never, ever do anything other than what Israel allows..it's hopeless and a waste of time to try and change US policy. Best approach is to work on Israel directly. I'm not very hopeful on either front right now...but I guess we have to keep trying and not leave the arena devoid of Arab input. cheers-Rami
