Thank you Chris for posting this piece. I cannot begin to tell you how much it means to me. When my daughter died at age 6mos. in Feb 1993. I had just purched the Tears in Heaven tape. After Tiffanys death I listened to two songs in particular on a daily basis for about 6 months one was Eric Clapton Tears In Heaven and the other was God gets what God Wants from Roger Waters album Amused To Death. I would listen to these songs over and over, and in some way they helped me to come to terms with my daughters death and find peace. Years later when I saw Eric perform at the World Convention in San Jose. I wanted so much to be able to thank him for giving his music to the world. But I had absolutely no concept of how I could even possibly approach him but somehow in my heart I think that he has had a glimpse of the Power to heal that some of his music holds. To this day (at times) I still get tears in my eyes when I hear this song.

Yours in Recovery,
Lester
