Join us to celebrate Frida Kahlo's 100th birthday. Kick up your heels with Maru Montero Dance Company and learn some Mexican dances. Make your own piñata to celebrate with at home, and create papel picado to string up at the museum or your home.
Sign a card for Frida and go on a guided tour of the exhibition Frida Kahlo: Public Image, Private Life. A Selection of Photographs and Letters. At 2 p.m. we will screen The Life and Times of Frida Kahlo by Amy Stechler in the auditorium.
