Earlier I circulated an invitation to this event. Please note that Bill
Goold would like to receive an RSVP from those planning to attend, by
phone at 202-226-4045 or by email at Bill.Goold@mail.house.gov. The
venue seats 300.
Good afternoon. My name is Bill Goold and I am the Executive Director
of the Congressional Progressive Caucus. At the suggestion of Bill
Polk, I am contacting you to extend a personal invitation for you to
attend a Capitol Hill Public Forum on Iraq where Bill and Senator
McGovern will be presenting and discussing their Iraq withdrawal plan
with Members of Congress, staff, and the media. In the interest of
time, I have attached a self-explanatory media advisory that contains
all of the essential information to hopefully facilitate your
attendance. It would be a privilege to have additional experts like
yourself engaged in this on-going series of educational forums that the
CPC hosts on Capitol Hill. My apologies for the short notice, but I did
not receive confirmation of our request to reserve this large, ornate
room which seats 300 until yesterday.
May I ask you to please RSVP to me via email or phone at 202-226-4055?
P.S. Please feel free to pass this invitation along to others in your
professional circles who may want to attend this public proceeding.
Again, I simply ask that anyone planning to attend, please let me know
in advance by email or phone that he/she will be attending.
