Hi-

Amy will be in two exciting shows this month:

"Crimes on Canvas" -A big Pop Surrealism group show at the
Hardrock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas happening this weekend-
July 18-19, 2008. Curated by M Modern Gallery.

and...

"5 Identities, 5 Destinations" at Ad Hoc Gallery in Brooklyn, NY.
I will have seven paintings in this show! The opening is July 25, 2008 from 7-10pm.
Come on out to the show if you live nearby. I'll be flying to NYC for the event.
Gallery hours are Wed-Sunday 1-8pm. Show runs until August 24th.

I just posted a sneak peek of my new paintings on my website:

More info/showcards on my homepage for these two shows-
contact galleries if interested.

Also, I want to thank everyone who bought my recent print, "The Creature".
It sold out overnight! Lucky numbers 11 and 44 received small drawings from me.
"The numerical phrase 4-11-44 has appeared repeatedly in popular music for over a century."

Thanks for your support!
Amy

P.S. Stay tuned for Tickler Uke #2!  I know it's been a long time coming...
but it's definitely coming!

Rejoice in your strength, rejoice in your talents and powers, rejoice in the wonders of your own nat

Rejoice in your strength, rejoice in your talents and powers, rejoice in the wonders of your own nature. For there is far more in you than you ever dreamed. So whatever may come, you are greater than it all, richer than it all. And knowing this, why should you not be glad? {
~ Christian D. Larsen, from Just Be Glad

Certainly there are times when bad things happen, but if we consider the fact that we are possessors of good and this goodness far outweighs any evil that might befall us, then we can remember, too, that nothing evil or wrong can exist for very long in the light of a joyful and triumphant attitude. We truly do have every reason to follow the apostle's directive and "count it all joy."

"May you always find reason for gladness."
