Snoflake ate my Keyboard, mouse and glasses!
   Snoflake AKA Merle ( my Cockatoo Parrot age 7.5 years), must be very jealous about the ammount of time that I spend my time at my computer beacause the Large HOUDINI escaped from a secure cage and was unsupervised all day..when i got home the bird was sitting on top of a lamp laughing...he had completed destroyed my keyboard by removing every key from the mother board, destroyed the mouse and chewed the cord off my powerbook. I also noticed my generic reading glasses were also destroyed. This smart bird is definately jealous of all the time I ignore the bird by sending all those pics and emails. Chris K. |

Stupidity in Iraq
RayClose@aol.com Dear friends: The most recent issue of "Stars and Stripes", the semi-official organ of the U.S. armed forces, reports that American troops in Fallujah (82nd Airborne Division) were prepared to come to the assistance of a besieged Iraqi police station and nearby Iraqi Civil Defense Corps compound last Saturday (14 Feb 04), but held back because the Iraqi commander on the scene insisted that to be rescued by the Americans would have been an unacceptable insult to his authority and credibility. At least 25 Iraqis were massacred --- for reasons that their families will probably attribute to callous American indifference (or worse).
